We pride ourselves in our attempts to use green materials whenever possible.  We reclaim and recycle at all possible opportunities and we attempt to purchase exotic woods from responsible suppliers who do not deal with importers practicing illegal and destructive methods of acquiring their woods.  Our environment is a precious and delicate system that is on the verge of irreparable damages and we suggest you check where your wood is coming from before purchasing any wood products.

2 Griffins has access to many domestic hardwoods, exotic woods and burls, Italian Acrylics, Dymondwood and others.  We will be placing a list of all of our available materials along with pictures to better help our customers pick their products.  Please bear with us while we get our pictures taken.  Thank you.

We finish all of our products with the most appropriate finish for the specific piece.  We can finish your piece with hand rubbed antique oil or tung oil, spray polyurethane, spray lacquer, or water based acrylic finish.  All have specific advantages and disadvantages, and varying cost factors.  This will be discussed with each specific client during the planning phase of the commission process.  We always hand rub our finishes for a beautiful sheen.  Buffing is also an option if the customer wants a high gloss polish to their furniture.
